About Our Kennel
Pleasant Hill Kennels is a traditional kennel that was built in the 1970’s. The kennel is made up of 24 runs, that consist of an indoor portion as well as a covered outdoor portion. The runs are divided by chain link fencing and the floors are concrete. Each run has a raised bed and large water dish. Most of the runs have privacy barriers in between to make dogs feel more comfortable. When the temperature is pleasant, (60-80F) the dogs have access to the outdoor portion of their runs during the day. The outdoor portions are closed at night, and during inclement weather. Our kennel is heated or cooled depending on the season. We have fourteen large runs (suitable for dogs weighing 40 pounds and over) and ten small runs (suitable for dogs weighing up 40 pounds). Dogs from the same family may share runs. We allow up to two dogs per run.
Pleasant Hill Kennels sits on over three and a half acres of land. We have four fully enclosed small outdoor yards, and a ½ acre off-leash grass play yard!
Give us a call and schedule a tour any day, between 10 am and 2 pm!
Our staff consists of a small group of dog lovers, who have years of experience caring for animals. We understand that dogs are members of the family, and treat them as such, providing them with the same love and care that we would give our own pets! Our staff are all pet CPR and first aid certified.
